Why don't I just hire a full-time designer?
That’s a great question! Well, for starters, the average cost of having a senior-level graphic designer for a year is upwards of R300 000. That’s an average of R25 000 a month and don’t get me started on how hard we are to find. Besides that, you’re not always going to have enough work to keep them busy while you’re stuck paying for time you’re not utilizing.
With a Canvas Graphics subscription plan, you’ll have the option to pause and resume your plan as often as you need to, so that you’re only paying your designer when you have work for them. The only draw-back is that you cannot pause your plan for more than 3 consecutive months. No vehicle should be parcked for that long.Â
What programs do you design in?
Most of the design requests are executed using Adobe products. That’s Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Premier-Pro, After-Effects and Dimensions. I also use Spline and Blender or 3D projects. WordPress, Webflow and Wix for Web designs.
How do I request designs?
Canvas Graphics offers a variety of options for requesting orders. Some common ways include Trello, WhatsApp and e-mails. The main aim is to make design as easy as possible for you. But don’t worry, we’ll explore all our options in the test-drive you booked.
How many requests can I make & How Long will it Take?
That’s the beauty of it all. There is no limit! Once you’ve subscribed to a plan, you can add as many requests to your list as you’d like and they will all get executed, one-by-one. Typically, most requests are concluded in 48 hours or less, however, more complex requests may take longer.
What if I don't like the design?
No problem. Your design will be revised until you are 100% happy with it. But don’t worry, we have a branding audit for you to complete so that we can unearth and align to your design style. After this process, you’ll more than likely love what you get.
What if I only have a single request?
You actually have two options for this one. First, you can sign up for one of the packages, complete your order and then pause it and resume it again when you have more work. The second option is to pay R1 500 for most kinds of designs like logos, flyers, social media posts and most other still designs. More complex designs such as websites, 3D designs, video edits, etc., may cost R3 000 or more. Please book a call to clarify.
How does the pause feature work?
We understand you may not have enough design work to fill up an entire month. Perhaps you only have one or two design requests at the moment. That’s where pausing your subscription comes in handy. Billing cycles are based on a 31 day period. Let’s say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you’ll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future. It’s like buying airtime for designs.
Who are the designers?
This may come as a surprise but Canvas Graphics is currently a design agency of one. Unless multiple personalities count, I’m just a man with over 10 years of experience expressing passion through design and completed over 36 500 design projects.
Is there any design work you don't cover?
Initially, I was going to say no but, there are a few things. I do not directly cover things like custom illustrations and, ironically, 3D websites. However, I do have partner designers who help me fulfil such orders at no extra cost to you.
Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?
Due to the high-quality nature of the goods delivered, there are, unfortunately, no refunds permitted.
